Tormek jig for scissors

Give your scissors a go on your Tormek with the jig for scissors SVX-150. It fits all kinds of scissors, from small household scissors to coarse hedge trimmers. You can also sharpen pruning shears that cut into zigzag fabric and electronic knives for hand planers.

The scissors are mounted in a holder that rests against the support plate. The grinding angle can be set so that you can exactly repeat the existing edge angle. You grind away the smallest possible material every time, regardless of the edge angle of the scissors.

One scissor blade, sometimes both, often has a slightly convex shape. Thanks to Tormek's patented design, you can follow the individual shape of each insert so that the grinding is even all the way.

The rotation of the stone pushes the scissors against the support plate, so you can concentrate on moving the scissors across the grindstone with full control.
