Santoku knife from the Wüsthof Classic series is a knife with many uses, but especially suitable for working with vegetables. The blade has dimples, or cult grinding as it is also called, which means that what you cut should not get stuck on the knife. These Santoku knives are part of the Wüsthof Classic Asian Line and have a steeper grinding angle (11 degrees per side) compared to other knives in the series.

With a selection of about 70 different blade shapes from 7 to 36 cm, the Wüsthof Classic is the widest range of knives available. The series stands out because of its distinctive design and ease of use that makes the knives the right tool for every home cook and professional.

Quality comes first, and with 55 manufacturing steps and 20 uncompromising quality controls, every knife is perfectly manufactured. The knife blade is forged from a piece of 1.4116 Chrome Molybdenum Vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15) hardened to a hardness of 58 HRC. The sharpening angle is 11 degrees per side, and Wüsthof's Precision Edge Technology (PEtec) gives the knife a durable sharpness. A triple riveted handle in hygienic POM material (Polypropylene) ensures long durability and hygienic use. The knife is NSF-certified and approved for use in professional kitchens.
