A very special and beautiful Japanese sujihiki / slicer knife that is excellent for slicing meat.

The blade of the Kai Shun Nagare knives immediately attracts attention. It is made of flexible VG2 steel and hard VG10 steel (core steel) that are rotated to create this unique 72-layer Damascus steel. Which has contributed to it becoming a type of double-core blade with a hardness of 61 Hrc. Innovatively flexible and remarkably designed and as if a sunrise rays have been captured in the leaf.

The handle has been ergonomically designed with a slightly downward sloping line and a small bulge, which means that the knife fits perfectly in the hand when you cut. The handle is made of black-gray Pakka wood and is secured with two rivets. The forged pliers in the handle create a beautiful balance with the blade. As a result, every Shun Nagare knife is a pure joy to work with!
