Chinese chef's knife is the Chinese's all-round knife and is characterized by the knife's wide blades which give the knife power and precision. Can be used for everything from shredding cabbage, cutting eggplant, melon and tomato or dividing smaller pieces of meat. The wide blade is also ideal for scooping up prepared ingredients and transferring them to the pot or frying pan. The Chinese chef's knife should not be confused with the meat ax that has the same shape. This knife has a thinner blade that should not be used on bones, hard fruits, coconuts, etc. Then you should instead use a meat ax or a butcher knife.

The Classic Ikon knives combine perfect ergonomics, excellent balance and optimal sharpness with a timeless design. A good tool for every home cook and professional. The knife blade is forged from a piece of 1.4116 Chrome Molybdenum Vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15) hardened to a hardness of 58 HRC. The sharpening angle is 14 degrees per side, and Wüsthof's Precision Edge Technology (PEtec) gives the knife a durable sharpness. A triple-riveted ergonomic handle in a durable POM material with specially designed bolster provides perfect comfort and control and ensures long durability and hygienic use. The knife is NSF-certified to meet the requirements for hygiene and food safety in professional kitchens.
