Zwilling Bob Kramer Euro Stainless is a series of fantastic knives that are a combination of the legendary knife maker Bob Kramer's design and the knife manufacturer Zwilling's production and state of the art technology. Bob Kramer is an American master knife maker who has dedicated his life to making the world's best kitchen knives. From his workshop in Olympia, he creates aesthetically magnificent and high-performance knives that have become so popular that he has to use a lottery to decide who will be allowed to buy the knives. He has therefore chosen to industrialize the production of this Euro Stainless series together with Zwilling at their state-of-the-art factory in Japan.
This is a unique knife with design and quality above all else. The blade has a core of ultra-hard SG2 powder steel with 50 alternating layers of nickel and stainless steel, resulting in an exceptionally strong, 101-layer Chevron Damascus blade. The blade is ice-hardened with Zwilling's patented CRYODUR process, which provides exceptional durable sharpness, long-lasting resistance to rust and flexibility in the steel. The knives have a hardness of 63 HRC and a grinding angle of 10 degrees per side.
The handle is made of black Micarta with a classic 3-rivet design, has non-slip properties and is moisture-repellent. Each handle has a characteristic Kramer decorite that is handmade in Bob Kramer's workshop.
Lifetime warranty for material and production defects.
Manufactured in Seki, Japan.
