The knife set with all three knives in the KAI Shun Premier Minamo series.

With its unique elegance, the Shun Minamo series is part of the high-class Kai knife series. An artistic combination influenced by both Japanese and European characteristics. Tim Mälzer's idea was to create a fusion of the typical Japanese Santoku and the classic European chef's knife. This merger created the basis for the three blade shapes. The combination of the black wood together with the specially designed blade and its even damask-inspired pattern makes each knife look like a single work of art. The series' name derives from its fine pattern, which resembles a water surface (Japanese Minamo) in rain. The blade construction consists of a hard core, surrounded by flexible damask steel, which provides maximum sharpness and durability as well as perfect performance.
