Santoku/vegetable knife, 18 cm from Mcusta Zanmai's series Supreme Twisted

The knife handles, made of red packet wood, are skilfully cut at angles (octagon) which are later finished in a round design. The design gives the knife a very exclusive look, but above all this makes the knife fit perfectly in the hand.

The knife is made of VG-10 steel with Cobalt VG-10 hand forged blade. The chemical composition of this extremely fine steel is: carbon (1%), chromium (15%), molybdenum (1%), vanadium (0.2%) and cobalt (1.5%), hardness 62-63 HRC.
