A Santoku Japanese chef's knife in three layers of steel with core steel of Shirogami carbon steel. This steel is easy to sharpen and the sharpness lasts a long time. The handle is made of magnolia and has good water resistance.

Note: These knives are produced from high quality carbon steel. The carbon steel wants to become dull over time and get a patina, which is proof of real carbon steel. The patina will not affect the properties of the blade. For best results, the knife should be hand washed and immediately dried completely dry. The knife must absolutely not be machine washed! If the knife is not handled correctly, it will rust. Feel free to use camel oil to protect the knife from moisture and to dissolve any corrosion attacks.
